There’s a saying in the design industry that every designer has to design a weather app at some point in their career. I took on the challenge with two major points in mind. First, I wanted to have both a map radar and a detailed graph in the same app. Second, one-finger navigation for 70% of the app’s features was a must.
Favorites are shown as in-app widgets, allowing you to quickly check basic weather details for your most frequently viewed locations, while the search field is located at the bottom for easy thumb reach.
Settings are divided into three main sections and are accessible from every screen through their respective tabs.
Apart from choosing between detailed and simplified graph views, the user can also set the graph order and hide or customize each graph.
