Cover illustration, based on a photographic reference of a Russian doll (‘Matryoshka’) taken by the author in a Moscow gift shop, drawn entirely by hand on a tablet.
Book Layout
We decided to go with asymmetrical, classic facing pages featuring wider outer margins for captions.
The typefaces of choice were Capitolium for the body and highlights, and Concord for captions.
Map illustrating the entire 9,289 km journey along the Trans-Siberian Railway, from Moscow to Vladivostok.
