Cover illustration, based on a photography reference of a russian doll "Matryoshka" (taken by the author in a Moscow's gift shop), drawn entirely by hand on tablet.

Layout

We deciced to go with asymetrical, classic facing pages with wider outer margins for captions.
Typefaces of choice were Capitolium for body and hightlights, and Concord for captions.

Map illustrating the entire Trans-Siberian Railway journey, covering 9289 km from Moscow to Vladivostok.

Odd pages pagination refers to geographic location of the journey.

Layout sneak peeks, including margins, hightlighted quotations, captions and other details
